Ancient Rabbis used to sit around and talk about which of the over 600 commandments in the Jewish law were the most important. Whichever one or two of these commandments a Rabbi placed at the top of his list were pretty good indicators of what the focus of their teachings would be. This focus was known as the "yoke" of the rabbi. Jesus, however, being the insightful revolutionary teacher He is, when asked which of the commands was greatest, responded by simplifying all of them into just two. Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself. We endeavor to explore this method of living the life which is pleasing to God by learning and walking in the "yoke" of the Master.
We meet every Sunday from 9:30 until 10:15 am to discuss important topics in a relevant way. All are welcome! Come join us anytime :)
